Homecoming Weekend, October 15-16, 2021!

Centennial Celebration of Pelham Memorial High School

PMHS is celebrating 100 years!  Under the leadership of PMHS Principal, Mark Berkowitz, and Director of Humanities, Maria Thompson and with their partners -- the Pelham Town Historian, the American Legion Post 50, the Pelham Art Center and the Pelham Chamber of Commerce -- the community has many activities planned to make a memorable homecoming weekend for returning alumni.

Here is the full weekend schedule of alumni events:


4:30 - 6:00pm: PMHS Girl's Varsity Volleyball game against Sleepy Hollow at Pelham Middle School (Varsity) Gymnasium

7pm:  PMHS Varsity Football game against Tappan, "Glover Field" (formerly "Parkway Field")


9am-1pm:  Pelham Children's Center Annual Pumpkin Festival (at the Gazebo, next to the Daronco Townhouse, 20 Fifth Avenue, Pelham) (there may also be a 5k race at 8am -- check back for details)

10:30am-11am:  Alumni check-in, Ingall's Field at PMHS

11am - 12 noon:  PMHS Re-dedication Ceremony at Ingall's (formerly Roosevelt) Field (link with details will be posted soon;  seating limited - local alums are encouraged to BYO chairs)

12 noon - 3pm:  "PMHS Highlights from Across the Decades" exhibit of historic PMSH photos at Ingall's Field and Tours of PMHS (link with details will be posted soon)

Student Led Tours of Pelham Memorial High School: Three 15-person tours per hour. Tours will last approximately 1 hour and will feature Academic and Architecturally significant elements of Pelham Memorial High School’s 100 Year Tradition. All Tours will begin at the 575 Colonial Avenue Main Entrance and conclude at the Franklin Field Covered Breezeway located between Pelham Memorial High School and Pelham Middle School.  Click here to register for tours

Wolf's Lane Walk:  Take a walk through the recently-renovated "Wolf's Lane Park" into downtown Pelham and have lunch at one of Pelham's many restaurants or enjoy a to-go lunch on the new picnic benches in the park (at corner of Boulevard and at corner of First Street)

1:00pm: Pelham Art Center Interpretive dance performance in the Wolf's Lane Park sculpture garden (corner of First Street & NYAC Avenue)

3:30 - 4:30pm:  Pelham Art Center complimentary Wine Reception for all PMHS alums and viewing of exhibit "Meditations," curated by Susan Nathenson (155 Fifth Avenue, corner of Third Street)

4:00 - 6:00pm:  Pelham Girl's Junior Varsity Soccer game against Harrison at Glover Field

All day: New Rochelle/Pelham ArtsFest with trolley shuttle to different open artist studios, art exhibits, classic car show, etc. (details not yet posted -- check back on the New Rochelle Council on the Arts website)

Saturday Evening:  Alumni reunion events planned by individual class years/decades -- organize and check with your classmates!
